| why Matt Bomer reminds me of Dick Grayson |

Delurking briefly to get this out of my system. The increasing buzz on some fan sites that Matt Bomer of White Collar would make the perfect Dick Grayson if a Hollywood movie were to be cast had me watching that show and YouTubing his past appearances. Yes, I concede...Matt has those gorgeous looks that would dwarft even Bruce Wayne's, a lean athletic body, clear blue eyes, and a mixture of vulnerability and mischief. He's serious but no dark.
Now, one of Matt's old shows, Guiding Light, which had his character Ben resisting the advances of a female predator actually sealed the deal for me. Turn off the sound and just substitute Dick for Ben and your horrific aggressive villainness in place of the girl (I vote Catalina Flores). And you see Dick the virtuous knight trying to maintain his sense of honor inspite of the company he's drawing.
Now if only Matt had a similar scene with an older gentleman that I could just think of as Slade...

| goodbye - and I'm sorry |

There's no easy way to say this, so let me say it straight out. First of all, let me apologize to the Friends I promised fics - especially the last Nightwing non-con solicitation of stories. I don't believe I can finish those stories now or in the very near future. I *am* sorry...I don't mean to let you down like that. At the same time, I don't want to keep you waiting for a fic that will never come.
But for personal reasons that are happening offline and has nothing to do with the wonderful communities here, I'm technically shutting down my LiveJournal. I mean, I won't be posting or participating....I'll be going off radar.
I'd like to thank everyone especially the wonderful Friends who've encouraged my writing and the equally fabulous authors who made me see sides of my favorite characters that i didn't know existed.
And...that's it for now. Nightwing Subs signing off. Again, my apologies. |

Apologies to the fen who’ve made their requests before this pairing, but the recent post asking for a Hal/Dick fic made my Muse write like crazy. It wouldn’t be ignored. The other fics will follow after this – especially the third part of Substitute (Bruce/Dick); that one’s on its hottest part and the Muse won’t be rushed, I’m afraid. In the meantime, I hope you enjoy this real short fic of a Green Lantern and Nightwing. Title: Secret Encounter Author: Nightwing_subs Pairing: Hal/Dick, mention of Guy Gardner/Dick, Oliver Queen. Also reference to a recent JLA canon adventure wherein Dick and Hal fuse into one hero, the Night Lantern, in an alternate universe. Rating/warning: NC-17, dub-con, bondage, misogyny on Hal’s part. Summary: Hal’s payback against Batman and one-upmanship against Guy Gardner.
